My friend Marcia Yapp and I are finishing up the residency we did at The Bubbler this past November and December. The community came forward helped create glass mosaic chess boards based on Alice in Wonderland and Thru the Looking Glass. They are luminous, iridescent, clean, stunning, and one-of-a-kind.
If you are interested in learning how to mosaic please consider joining our Glass Mosaic class beginning in February. It is a fast paced class were we create a glass mosaic piece which hangs in your window and a glass mosaic stepping stone for your garden. One reflects light in the most beautiful way and the other is a great accent piece in your garden. Easier than stained glass but just as gorgeous, we will learn simple techniques to cut, glue, and grout. Every Wednesday 7pm-8:30pm for 5 sessions beginning Feb. 15th, 22nd, March 1st, 8th, 15th. Ages 12-Adult Welcome $120 for 5 sessions.
